Livingstone Kalema was born and raised in the Mitiyana, a district west of Kampala, Uganda. As a young man Livingston’s father told him stories of his travels to the remote areas of Uganda. Livingston was captivated by stories of the fascinating wildlife his father had the privilege of encountering. Livingstone’s initial qualification was in the field of Education, which is a testament for his love of people and his ability to share his knowledge. But his pull to experience the wonders of Ugandan birding and wildlife lead to a Diploma in Tourism. Livingston has guided for 10 years in the many of the major parks and has guided for many reputable tour and safari companies. Livingston’s passion for birding is perpetually fueled by the thrill of watching guest experience Ugandan birdlife.
